Here is the link to the desiccated liver I was talking about: Radiant Life. However, it is probably going to be much cheaper if you can find a source of local, pastured, grass-fed beef or chicken liver.

Great video. We enjoy eating chicken livers, but didn't know you could eat it raw. Chicken livers are so creamy and we love them with onion and potatoes. Is there a reason you swallow the raw liver without chewing, or is it just not palatable?
ReplyDeleteYvonne, Yes, the reason I swallow the chicken liver without chewing is because I'm not too fond of the texture, or the taste, really. I thought it would appeal to more people to know that they could swallow it like pills rather than having to chew it.
ReplyDeleteFunny I just saw a recipe for a smoothie with a raw chicken liver and I thought there was no way I'd even attempt that...you are braver than me!
ReplyDeleteExcellent video! You and Chief covered it very well! I'm curious about the fermented cod liver oil now too...
ReplyDeleteSorry, I can't do it, just gonna stick with chicken. But thanks for sharing, one day maybe I'll be brave... maybe. :o)
ReplyDeleteI'm a texture person so pureeing and adding to beef is a great idea. Never would have thought of that.
