Jovial Giveaway! (ENDED)

I'm really excited that Jovial is sponsoring my newest giveaway. I've been raving about einkorn for a few months now; in fact, I use it exclusively at home. It turns out that Jovial also makes canned tomatoes (to go along with their einkorn pasta, of course!) and they sent me some to try.

The only canned tomatoes that could ever dream to be better than Jovial's are the ones you personally can yourself. Jovial's are excellent - sweet, juicy, and thick. Prepared in small batches, they come in whole, crushed, or diced varieties. The only ingredients are organic tomatoes and organic tomato puree. No citric acid or calcium chloride, which are ingredients in another popular organic brand's tomatoes. There's not even any salt (keep in mind that when you pick and can fresh, in-season tomatoes, they don't need salt). But probably my favorite thing about these tomatoes is that they're canned in glass. Glass does not leach any chemicals into your food. There are other threats in aluminum cans besides BPA, so even BPA-free cans are not the best option. Since tomatoes are highly acidic, they are more prone to absorbing the contents of cans than other foods.
